What Are Free Spins, and What Is an Award Actually Worth?

A free spin is slot credit at a stake the casino has chosen. That is the whole definition, and it has one consequence that matters more than anything else in this category: because the stake is fixed, two casinos advertising the same number of spins are offering a comparable thing — which is not true of any other bonus type.

The arithmetic the headline leaves out
